Meet Our Team
The Turf Doctor’s (Robert’s) journey in turf management began in 1984 by treating lawns in Franklin, TN, for Walter Glenn, owner of Perf-a-Lawn. He then obtained a bachelors degree in Agronomy in 1993 from Mississippi State University, majoring in Turfgrass Management. Robert has worked at several golf courses in Memphis, New York, and at Belle Meade Country Club in Nashville, TN. He started The Turf Doctor part time in 1995, and went full time in 1998. Robert now dedicates his time to quality control and customer service here at The Turf Doctor.
